Kenneth Craig Hughes

Kenneth C. Hughes age 72 of Ontario, formerly of Hornell, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026 at Rochester General Hospital.

He was born in Hornell, NY the son of Robert Thomas Hughes and Lois Lorow Hughes. Ken enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army where he was a very active participant.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother Stephen Hughes.

He is survived by his brother James J. (Kim) Hughes of Hornell, his sister Lorna Guidry of TN, his special niece Angela Low, nieces and nephews Jennifer Reese, James R. Hughes, Anthony Andrew Dennis, Kimberly Hoskins, Lucretia Hawkes, and Christopher Robinson, great nieces, Destiny Beyea, Neveah Beyea, and great great niece Nova Lynn Hoskins.

No services are scheduled and a private service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are with the Bender Brown Powers Funeral Home in Hornell.
