Kathleen A Henry, 68, of 1320 Lakeville Lane, passed away Saturday (May 7, 2011) at Kirkhaven Nursing Home.
Born in Buffalo, January 9, 1943, the daughter of William and Genevieve (Crocker) Lynch, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Hornell High School, and later Alfred State College. Kathleen had been employed by the ARC of Steuben. She enjoyed Bingo, and the love of her family especially her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Thomas Lynch.
She is survived by her daughters Jenny (Mark) Buckley of Webster, Amy Henry (Larry Perry) of Hornell, grandchildren Danielle Henry, Emily McCormick, Aaron, Matthew, Jason, and Isaac Buckley, her sister Mary Ellen Chevalier of Elmira, sister in law Victoria Lynch of NC, as well as nieces and nephews.
The family will be present 4-6PM Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be Hornell Rural Cemetery.
