Katherine M. Storm, 88, of 7645 Doorley Road, passed away Sunday (October 28, 2012) surrounded by her loving family following a long illness.
She was born May 30, 1924 in Hornell to Elmer J. and Hazel B. (Clark) Smith. She was married on January 27, 1945 in Hornell to Charles K. Storm, who predeceased her in 1994. She was employed at various places including Loohn's Cleaners, Richmeyers Grocery store, and Gold Seal Winery. She was a member of the FOE, and enjoyed crocheting, baking and camping.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles, her sisters Viola Smith, and Deloris Bloom, her brother Donald Smith, her grandsons David Robords, and Bradley and Chip Gleason, her granddaughter Marsha Robords, and great grandson Logan Robords.
She is survived by her children Connie (Dorman) Gleason of Prattsburgh, Kenneth (Debbie Storm of Hornell, Jackie Davis of Ontario, Kathy (Gerald)Edwards of Hornell, Kim Robords of Hornell, 35 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her siblings, John (Jenny) Smith, and Ann (John) Trentanelli, her mother in law Alberta Seward, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present 2-4 &7-9PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. John Robords officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
Friends may make memorial contributions to: Care First Hospice (formerly Southern Tier Hospice) or to the local Wounded Warriors fund.
