Karen N. Weinhart, 65, of Coombs Hill Rd., passed away peacefully Wednesday (January 28, 2015) with her family at her side.



Born in Rochester, October 11, 1949, she had resided most of her life in the Canaseraga area. Karen had been employed as an LPN at Jan & Bev's Home care in Wellsville. She had a deep appreciation for nature. Somewhat reclusive, she just enjoyed being at home. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and walking her dogs. In later years, she traveled including a cross-country camping trip in 2013.



She was predeceased by her mother, Lois B. (Brethen) Fisher and step-father, Francis K. Fisher, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew. She was also predeceased by her beloved friend, Esther Lacy.



She is survived by her husband Donald Weinhart to whom she married in 2006, son, Jason Weinhart, grandson Jax Caden Matson and his mother, Natacha Matson, brother, Bruce (Stacia) Brethen, nieces Lorene Capizzi, Debra Clymer, Denise Trippi, nephew, Scott (Sue) Brethen, great nephews, Tyron Koester, and Sean Clymer.



She found extended families with her young clients and formed special friendships with her co-workers.

Honoring Karen's wishes there will be no calling. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
