June M. Noether (Loving Mother & Grandmother)

June M. Noether, 87, of 104 South Main Street, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Olean General Hospital.
Born in Mt. Morris on June 2, 1923 a daughter of William V. and Grace (Boone) Rich, she was a lifelong area resident, also living in Florida for 15 years including the Leesburg, and Spring Hill areas. She was a member of the Belfast United Methodist Church, also the United Methodist Women, and the Crafty Belles. June enjoyed handicrafts, knitting, crocheting, but her greatest passion in life was her entire family, to which she devoted her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers and sisters, and her husband James L. Noether Sr in 1986 .
She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Raymond) Grant of Belfast, Faith (Roger) Lawson of Florida, Eva (Michael) Hillman of Belfast; her sons, James L. (Rhonda) Noether Jr. of Mt. Morris, Lynn R. (Linda) Noether of Florida, Thomas N. Noether of Indiana, David P. (Joy) Noether of Portville; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Belfast United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. David Cooke officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
