June A. McDaniels, 87, of 61 Adsit St., passed away Monday (August 23, 2010) at her home surrounded by her family..
Born in Rochester, April 26, 1923, the daughter of Fred and Dora Palmanteer Bayne, she had resided in Hornell nearly all her life, with the exception of time spent in California from 1964 to 1972. She was a graduate of St. James Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as an LPN at the former Bethesda Community Hospital and St. James Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Robert McDaniels who she married in 1943, 2 daughters, Sue Ann (Glenn) Hann of Hornell and Deborah (Michael) Wheeler of Almond, 2 sons Robert (Paulette) McDaniels of Rochester and Thomas (Theresa) McDaniels of California, one brother, Herbert (Carol) Bayne of Almond, 12 Grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
