June E. Jones, 88, formerly of 32 Main Street, passed away Friday (March 2, 2012) at the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath.
Born in Sparta, June 8, 1923, the daughter of William and Gertrude Pike Sterner, she had resided in Arkport most of her adult life. She was a member of the Arkport United Methodist Church and a former member of the Christian Business Woman's Group.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Jones in 1987, and her brother, William Sterner.
She is survived by 2 daughters- Deborah Young of Burns, Kathleen (Dennis Cramer) Doll of Canisteo, 2 sons- Theodore (Tammy) Jones of Arkport and Terry (Heather Rote) Jones of Hornell, her sister, Marie Roberts of Dansville, 10 grandchildren; Tara Wilson, Jeremy Jones, Brian Jones, Jacob Young, Rebekah Jones, Danielle Doll, Stacey Jones, Justin Jones, Kenneth Jones and Michelle Jones, 6 great grandchildren.
