Judy M. Johnson, 74, of St. Rt. 21, was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday (December 9, 2017) at her home.



Born in Bath, NY, November 9, 1943, the daughter of Lloyd and Helen Conrad, she had resided in the Hornell area most of her life. Judy was a graduate of the Cohocton School. She was employed by the Maple Crest Manor and Ira Davenport Hospital. Judy was also a homemaker and took care of several area residents. She loved to crotchet and play cards and always had words of wisdom. Judy loved the Lord and touched the hearts of all she met. You could always find Judy praying to her Lord.



She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Johnson Sr. and a step-son; Lawrence Johnson Jr.



She is survived by a daughter; Sandra (LaRue) Johnson of Hornell, 2 sons; Daryl (SueAnn) Whitehead of Avoca and Christopher Whitehead of Hornell, step-son Lynn (Joel) Johnson of Mansfield PA, her former husband and father of her children; Douglas Whithead, grandchildren; Stephanie Whitehead, Christopher (Allison) Johnson, Jessica (Tim) Jackson, Sarah Johnson, Abigail Whitehead, David (Cindy) Johnson and Zach Johnson, great-grandchildren; Meghan Johnson, Leah Jackson, Ava Johnson , Jacob Johnson and Macy and Mathew Tuller , sister; Regina Gilbert, her brothers; Layne (Ellie) Conrad, Neil (Dottie) Conrad, Kevin (Shirley) Conrad and Bradley (Sharon) Conrad, her close friend; Carol Gee, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present from 1-3PM and 6-8PM on Thursday (Dec. 14, 2017), at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will be held on Friday (Dec. 15, 2017) at 11AM, pastors Phillip and Marcia Casterline officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
