Judy K. (Clark) Pierce, 68, of 34 Stephens Street, entered into rest January 7, 2013 after her lifelong devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A truly selfless woman, whose love and kindness for her family was her only priority, is finally at rest with her Lord in Heaven.



Born in Wellsville, November 20, 1944, the daughter of Russell and Mable Young Clark, she had resided in Canisteo most of her life. She was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and had been employed in her early life at the Evening Tribune as well as Radio WLEA, and as a salesclerk at the former Ben Franklin Store in Canisteo. She later became a sales representative for Avon Products, serving Canisteo and the surrounding areas for several years.



She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Bert Clark.



She is survived by her husband, Lewis Pierce to whom she was married on Feb. 16, 1968, 2 daughters, Julie Anne (Edgar) Driver of Georgia and Sheila K. Steiner of Hornell, one son, Russell (Jodie) Pierce of Canisteo, one brother, LaVern (Priscilla) Clark of Alfred Station, 9 Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Lewis Smith, Emily Irwin, Aiden Driver, Dalton Steiner, Kiehlen Steiner, Shantalle Pierce, Stephen Pierce, and Allison Pierce, 4 Great Grandchildren, Colby Mixon, Jaxson Mixon, Serenity Irwin and Brantley Irwin, several nieces & Nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM, Rev. Donald Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
