Joyce M. Brace, 66, of
199 East Ave., passed away Sunday (September 10, 2006) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Dunkirk, September 1, 1940, the daughter of William and Mary Slate Eckert, she had resided in Hornell since 1975.
Joyce graduated from Dunkirk High School and was known for her love of family and friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Billy Brace in 1972
She is survived by two daughters: Kimberly ( Scott) McGregor of Canisteo, Dawn ( Michael) Brace of Hornell. One son: Dave ( Delilah) Brace of Canisteo. One sister: Dorothy Niedbalski of Fl. A Daughter In Law, Lori Brace of Hornell.
Nine Grandchildren: Allen ( Shannon) McGregor, Joshua , Rachael, Matthew, Ryan and Kyle McGregor, William and Kimberly Brace and Katie Gee.
Several Necies Nephews and cousins and special friends: Diana and Lester Johnson and James Quant.
The family will be present to receive friends from 10 AM. -12Noon Wednesday, (September 13, 2006) at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St., Hornell, where Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours, with Terry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
