Jose R. Ocasio, 70, of 14 Pine Street, passed away peacefully Wednesday (May 24, 2017) at his home.
Born in Puerto Rico,September 3, 1946, he had resided in Mt. Morris prior to moving to Hornell. He had been employed as a supervisor at Seneca Foods in Mt. Morris for several years.
He is survived by longtime friend and companion; Karen Rodriquez of Hornell, two daughters; Sonja and Nellie as well as two sons; Frankie and Anthony, one step daughter; Nicole Rodriquez of Mt. Morris, two step-sons; John Thornton of Mt. Morris and Christopher Thornton of Avon, his brother; Luis Ocasio of Buffalo. Jose was a "Papa" to many generations of children.
