Joan H. McLaughlin, 60, of 13 The Circle, passed away Tuesday (October 31, 2006) at her home.
Born in Bath, August 16, 1946, the daughter of Carson and JeanStrait Fitzwater, she had resided inHartsville for several years and in Hornell the past 13 years. She was a memberof the Ladies Auxiliary of the Canisteo American Legion. Joan had been employed in the Deli Departmentat the Hornell P&C Store.
She was predeceased by her parents, 1 sister- Barbara JeanCrowe, 2 brothers, Stephen and Douglas Fitzwater, 3 grandsons, Lucas andZachary Davis, and Michael McLaughlin
She is survived by 3 Daughters, Mary Jo (Scott) McVicker ofColorado, Tracey (Shawn) Austin of Hornell and Amanda McLaughlin of Hornell, 1son, Michael (Marty Edwards) McLaughlinof Arkport, 1 sister, Tracy Phillips of Hammondsport, 5 brothers, Thomas(Cindy) Fitzwater of Hornell, Patrick (Linda) and Richard (Dawn) Fitzwater bothof Bath, Robert Fitzwater of Hornell and Jack (Vicky) Fitzwater of Minnesota, 10Grandchildren, Hannah, Sophie, Lily, Jaime, Emma and Lauren McVicker,Kenneth and Jacob Davis, and Ashley and Lance McLaughlin, nieces & nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 &6-8 PM Friday at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St,Hornell where funeral services will be heldon Saturday at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow.
