Jeri Lou Geer, 58, a resident of The Lincoln Gardens Apartments, formerly of Merrill Lane and Church Street Court, passed away Saturday (April 22, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born in Buffalo, March 23, 1959, the daughter of Gerald and Helen VanScoter Crosson, she had resided in Hornell all of her life. She was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1978, and for a period of time was employed at the former Wilson Farm Store on Canisteo Street in Hornell. Jeri had served her country as a member of the United States Army.
She was predeceased by her father in 2008 and her husband, Oliver N. Geer Sr in 2009.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Crosson of Arkport, two sons, Melvin and Lewis Wesche, one brother, Joseph (Shirley Anderson) Crosson of Canisteo and her beloved dog "Izzy", several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Honoring Jeri's wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service and military honors at Bath National Cemetery on Thursday. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
