Jennie Burnes Mullikin, 93, formerly of Merrill Lane, passed away Thursday (October 8, 2015) at McAuley Manor.
Born in Hornell, March 3, 1922, the daughter of William and Edna LaForge Coddington, she had resided in Hornell all her life. Jennie was a diet aide at the former Bethesda Hospital and was also a loving housewife and mother. She was a member of the Hornell Bible Church in Hornell. She was predeceased by her husband Donald C. Burnes and married Howard Mullikin in 1977.
In addition to her parent's she was predeceased by her husband Howard, brother, Norman Coddington, granddaughter, Paula Remchuk as well as her great grandchildren, Jason Snyder, Sean McCormick and Aleah Hartzell.
She is survived by four daughters, Fay (Joe) Herrneckar of Arkport, Nancy (Jim) Phillips of Arkport, Donna (Mark) Larnard of Hornell, Edna (Dan) Doll of Arkport, step-daughters, Carolyn (Larry) Campbell of Canisteo and Donna McCormick of Mt. Morris, brother, Darold (Jeanne) Coddington of Greenwood, 57 grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday (October 15, 2015) from 12PM until 1PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St. Hornell. A Memorial Service will follow calling hours at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Nathan Ruble officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery
