Jeffrey Ralph Hooker, 68, of Back River Rd. Belmont, passed away Wednesday (February 14, 2024) at Buffalo General Hospital after an extenuated battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Cuba NY, December 30, 1955, the son of Harry Junior and Marie Comstock Hooker.
Jeff had a love for the outdoors, camping, Sprint car racing, his dogs and anything to do with nature. He also loved spending time with his friends and family. Jeff enjoyed working for Allegany County as a snowplow driver, Court House Maintenance worker and other jobs. He took a lot of pride in his work and developed many friendships along the way.
He is survived by his daughters Shannon Gilbert of Canaseraga and Tamara (Jon) Adams of Louisiana. His stepson Seth (Tiffany) Coombes of Belmont. His sister Cyndi (Michael) Stanton of Scio. Grandchildren Michael Gilbert, Morgan Gilbert, Sean Adams, Evan Adams, and Carson Coombes.His nieces and nephews Charlayna, Jorie Mae, Wyatt, Jenilyn, and Neil Stanton.
Calling hours and a viewing will take place at Brown and Powers Funeral Homes 101 West Avenue in Angelica on February 21, 2024, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
