Jean L Parker, 81, of 434 Monroe Avenue, passed away peacefully Sunday (December 4, 2011) at the Hornell Gardens, where she got wonderful care, and the family would like to thank the employees for the great care she received.
Born in Hornell, July 9, 1930, the daughter of Milton and Mae Lennette (Crandall) Parker, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating Hornell High School. Jean early in her career worked for the former TWA Airlines in Washington DC, and later for St. James Mercy Hospital as a medical secretary. She was a member of the former Spencer United Methodist Church, and enjoyed bowling.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Dennis) Petric of Hornell, and 2 grandsons Joshua, and Michael Petric of Hornell.
A Private graveside service will be at Mt. Morris Cemetery.
