Janice Marie Miller, 85 formerly of Union Street, passed away Wednesday (March 16, 2022) at the Taylor Health Care in Bath.
Born in Wayland, October 2, 1936, the daughter of Clifford and Gladys Seeley Chapman, she was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1955. Janice worked for a brief time at the Hornell Credit Union but enjoyed being a stay at home mom and housewife. She loved cats and gardening.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard I. Miller, her son David Miller, and her brother Jack Chapman.
Surviving are her son; Scott Miller of Canisteo, her grand daughter; Ashley Miller, her brother-in-law; Lewis (Karen) Miller of Long Island, her nieces; Bonnie (Pat) Riccardi of Syracuse and Tina (Steve) White of Syracuse, and her nephews; Daniel Miller of Canandaigua and Stephen Miller of Long Island.

The Family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday (Mar. 22, 2022) from 11AM until 12 Noon at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street, in Hornell where funeral services will follow calling hours at Noon. Rev. Lenny Fuller will officiate. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery in Hornell.
