Born in Hornell, April 19, 1957, the sonof Donald and Virginia CarlinTravis , he had resided in Hornell most of his life. Jim was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War from 1975-79. He methis long time companion and wife Michelle Hamlin Travis in 1979 and they later married on July 18, 1995. Jim's favorite past time wasworking on small engines. He was predeceased by his mother Virginia Travis in 1996.
He is survived by hiswife Michelle
