James C. Quagliana

James C. Quagliana 83, long time resident of Florida, passed away Wednesday (Feb. 18, 2026) in Largo Florida. Jim had made his home in Canisteo for a short time a few years ago.

Born in San Francisco, California, December 7, 1942, he had owned and operated Casual Menswear in Madeira Beach Florida from 1980 until 2005. Jim had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1966 -1968.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rose Cina Quagliana.

He is survived by his husband of 55 years, Bruce Morse, his cousins, Kathy & Jim Austin, Michael DePlato and Maureen Scoville, Anne DePlano and Jennie Marie D'Aurizio

The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce Street in Canisteo, NY from 2 PM until 4 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be Wednesday March 11, 2026 at 1 PM at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Batavia , NY.
