James W. Prentice Sr., 66, of
72 Greenwich St, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (October 17, 2007) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Belmont, August 6, 1941, the son of George and Ruth Henderson Prentice,he had a lifelong area resident. Jim graduated from Belmont Central School, and was in the USNavy from 1960-63. Jim's most recent job had been delivery man for the AngelicaBakery. He was a member of the Angelica Fire and Rescue Companies, but will bemost remembered as a true family man. Jim enjoyed his kids, grandkids, andgreat grandkids and was always willing to taxi any one of them to where everthey needed to go. He also loved to play Bingo and was a Huge Buffalo Sabresfan.
He was predeceased by his wife Delores in 2000, his step sonJames Miller, an infant sister, and 2 brothers George and Frederick Prentice.
He is survived by a daughter Lisa Prentice of Elma, a sonJames Prentice Jr of Angelica and step son Raymond Miller of Belmont 15 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.
The family will be present 1-3pm Saturday, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
101 West Ave., Angelica,where Funeral services will be at 3:00PM, with Carl Kemp officiating.Burial will be in Until The Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica
