4660 Bush Hill Road,passed away unexpectedly Thursday (March 23, 2006) at hishome.
Born in Hornell, May 26, 1953, the sonof William and Neva Mitchell Birdsall, hehad resided in Canisteo all his life. Hewas employed as a lineman and heavy equipment operator for NYSEG. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing,and working in the woods, but will be especially remembered as a lovinghusband, father and an exceptional grandfather.
He was predeceased by his father, William Birdsall.
He is survived by hiswife, Barbara Kirk Birdsall whom he married Oct. 3, 1972, two daughters Stephanie (Danny) Mitchell of Canisteo, Rebecka (fiance EricJohnson) Birdsall of Williamson, his mother, Neva Lawrence of Canisteo, three sisters: Kay (Tim) Martin of Florida, Connie (Dennis) Wyant of Wellsville and Judy (Larry) Lockwood of Arkport, one brother: William(Laurie) Birdsall of Canisteo, 2grandchildren Danielle and Sierra Mitchell, several nieces, nephews andcousins.
