Jacqueline Y. "Jackie" VanHoven, 41, of

1575 Osmin Rd, passed away unexpectedlyWednesday (August 27, 2008)at St. James Hospital.



Born in North Hornell, September 2, 1966, the daughter of Walter and MadelineGlover Bourgeois Sr., she had resided in Canaseragaduring her early life and in the Canisteo-Rexville area since 1993. Jackie wasa truck driver, and together with her husband Doug, was a self employed truckerfor several years, She was a member of the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church.



She was predeceased by her parents.



She is survived by her husband, Douglas VanHoven, whom shemarried April 9, 1994, her sons, Terrance Causey of Rexville, Lee (Beth)VanHoven of Canisteo and Scott VanHoven of Rexville, 2 sisters, SuzanneBourgeois of Dansville and Nancijean (Raymond) Barnes of Canisteo, 3 brothers,James (Maria) Bourgeois of PA., Walter (Nancy) Bourgeois of Cuba and StephenBourgeois of Painted Post, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces &nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 7-9pm Friday, and 4 PM until 8PM Saturday at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,

6 Spruce St., Canisteo. Funeral services will be held at the Buena Vista Wesleyan Churchon Sunday at 2:00 PM, Rev.Dan Pickering officiating. Burial willbe in Bennetts Creek, Canisteo.
