Surrounded by family Jackie Goodwin passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Survived by her children Barb Helling (Bob), Bev Roberts (Jim), Bill Goodwin (Bonnie) and Deb Goodwin (Mary D’Angelo); 10 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 71 years Otto Goodwin and grandson Jason Jacobs.
Jackie was a lifelong resident of the Arkport area and was actively involved with the many family businesses started by her late husband Otto. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends, cruising the rivers in Florida and was an avid gardener – working in her flower beds as late as this Spring. Jackie was a lifelong NASCAR fan and a Daytona ticket holder for 44 years.
Jackie is a member of the Arkport Presbyterian Church, and a past member of the Maple Leaf Sweet Adelines and Canisteo Valley Chrome Divas.
The family will have a celebration of life at the Arkport Presbyterian Church June 1, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Arkport Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Jackie’s name can be made to the Arkport Presbyterian Church, 15 Main St. Arkport, NY.
