Jack A. Chapman,74, of LismanLane, passed away, Thursday (October 5, 2006) at the Hornell Gardens.



Born in Wayland, January 23, 1932, the sonof Clifford and Gladys Seeley Chapman, he had been an area resident for many years. Hewas a graduate of Hornell High school Class of1951, and retired as a welder from Foster Wheeler of Dansville. Jack enlistedin the United States Air Force serving 12 years on active duty, and finishedhis obligation in the Reserves. He was a member of the Arkport American Legion,and also supported Feed the Childrencharity.



He was predeceased by his parents, and 2 sons



He is survived by 3daughters Cindy Wisozcynski of Syracuse, Bonnie Riccardi of Syracuse and TinaWhite of Tully and 1 son Charles Chapman of Texas, 1 sister Janice (Richard)Miller of Canisteo 1 nephew Scott Miller of Canisteo, and numerous grand andgreat grandchildren.

The family will be present 1-3pmSunday, at the Bender - Brown & PowersFuneral Home, 354 Canisteo Street,Hornell, where Legion services, and funeralservices will be held at 6:00 PM Burial will be at Hornell Rural Cemetery.
