233 Post Road, Town of Hartsville, passed away Thursday (December 20, 2007) in Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.
Born in Hartsville, December 2, 1919, the sonof Howard J. and Isabel Beattie Post, hehad resided in Hartsville all his life.He was a graduate of Canisteo Central Schooland a member of the Hartsville Community Church.He had been a member of the Town Board of Hartsville, and the Farm Bureau. Howard had been self employed all his life asa farmer in the Town of Hartsville.
He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, GertrudeStickle.
He is survived by his wife, Janice EwellPost whom he married in 1961, their daughter, Annette (Howard Greene) Carver ofSeaford, Deleware, 3 sisters, Vida (Gene) Grauof Gettysburg, PA., Mariam (Jim) Scovazzoof Long Island, Betty Updyke of Prattsburg,Brother-in-law, John Stickle, 3 grandchildren, Alana M. Carver, Amber M. Carverand Benjamyn R. Carver all of New Hampshire.
