Howard F. Mullikin,87, of
249 Merrill Lane,passed away Tuesday (March 14, 2006) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Westfield, PA, January 6, 1919, the son of George andMargaret VanOrman Mullikin,he had resided in Hornell for severalyears. He served in the US Army duringWW-2 from 1942-1945 having been stationed in the South Pacific, New Guinea , Australia andthe Philippines . He was a member of the Hornell BibleChurch, The Hornell VFW Post #2250, the Hornell American Legion Post and was aformer member of the Hornell Moose Lodge, the Hornell Eagles Club and theAssociation. He had been employed at the former
Erie Rail Road, Hornell Sample Furniture,and in the maintenance department of the Hornell School District
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Mildred Loucks, and his brothers, Clayton, Harvey and Royce Mullikin.
He is survived by hiswife Jennie Coddington BurnesMullikin, whomhe married January 6, 1977, 2 daughters, Carolyn (Larry) Campbell of Canisteo,Donna McCormick of Mt. Morris, 4 step-daughters, Fay (Joe) Herrneckarof Arkport, Nancy (Jim) Phillips of Arkport, Donna (Mark) Larnardof Hornell, Edna (Dan) Doll of Arkport, 2 sisters, Shirley Elliott of Syracuseand Barbara Hart of TN, 3 brothers, Ron (Marge) Mullikinof Almond, George (Pearl) Mullikin of Howard and Dale(Ann) Mullikin of Wyoming, several grand and greatgrandchildren.

The family will be present to receive friends from10:00 AM until 10:30 AMSaturday, at the Hornell Bible Churchwhere a Memorial Services will followcalling hours at 10:30 AM,Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
