Henry Sandman, 72, of 129 East Main Street, passed away peacefully Thursday (September 27, 2012) at Rochester General Hospital surrounded by those who loved and cared for him thru the years.
Born in New York City, July 23, 1940, the son of Henry and Mary Sandman, he had resided in Hornell, NY for the past 24 years. Henry was a member of the Curtis Museum, a life member of the ARC of Steuben and will be remembered for his love of birds and trains.
He was predeceased by his parents and siblings.
He is survived by his family and friends at the ARC of Steuben.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 1 PM until 3 PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell where funeral services will be held following calling hours at 3 PM with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be in St Michaels Cemetery, East Elmhurst.
