Helen G. Phillips, 94, Formerly of Webbs Crossing Road,passed away Sunday (April 6,2008) at the Greenfield Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster, NY.
Born in Jamestown,NY, December 28, 1913, the daughter of Alfred and Ellen(Peterson) Nelson, she had resided in Hornell since the late 1950's. Helen wasemployed as a cashier for the former Loblaws of Hornell.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as her husbandWalter on November 22, 1993,three brothers: Emery, Paul and Alfred Nelson.
She is survived by one son: Robert (Debra) Keller of AldenNY, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 AMuntil 1:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Bender - Brown & PowersFuneral Home, 354 Canisteo St. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 1PM with Rev. Michael Childsofficiating Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
