Helen M. Fisk age 96, passed away peacefully on Friday (March 20, 2026) at RRH Clifton Springs Hospital.

She was born in South Dansville aka Beechville, on July 21, 1929 the daughter of Fay Sutfin and Hazel Davis Sutfin. Helen was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Arkport Central School "Class of 1947". On April 1, 1950, she married Thomas E. Fisk, and was predeceased by him on March 5, 1994. Helen had worked for Westinghouse in Bath, Newberry's in Hornell, but being a Stay at Home Mom was her true career. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, camping, gardening and wintering in Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Tom, her brothers Floyd, Earl, Robert and Gerald Sutfin, her sisters Katharine Houghtaling, Marian Monaghan, Evelyn McClary, Ada Cary, Doris Bennett, and Lucille Lockwood, and great grandson Austin Dineen.

She is survived by her 3 daughters Teresa (Fred Griswold) McMichael of Hornell, Connie (Bill) Brown of Palmyra, Cindy (George) Easterbrooks of Hornell, 3 grandchildren Tara (Mike) Adams, Amanda (Chad) Yoder, Jennifer McMichael Dineen, great grandchildren Lucas Adams, Kaelyn Yoder, and Tyler Yoder, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) from 1-2pm at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell, where a Funeral Service will take place at the conclusion of calling hours at 2:00pm with Rev. Beverly Karr Lyon officiating. Burial will be at Heritage Hills Cemetery in Arkport.
