Helen E. Erskine, 65, of Mt. Dora Florida, passed away Friday (July 1, 2011) at the home of her son in the Town of Fremont.



Born in Hornell, November 13, 1945, the daughter of Raymond and Bernice Green Vincent, she was a graduate of Hornell High School and had resided her entire life in Hornell prior to moving to Florida in 2005. She had been employed at McDonalds in Hornell as well as Home Video in Hornell.



She was predeceased by her father, Raymond Vincent.



She is survived by her husband, John Erskine whom she married on February 6, 1966, 4 sons, John (Laura) Erskine Jr. of Hornell, Raymond (Renae) Erskine of VA., Jeremy (Maggie) Erskine of Arkport, and Mark (Dawn) Erskine of Hornell, her mother, Bernice Vincent of Hornell, 2 sisters, Rebecca (Gar) Perine of Mexico, NY and Penny Nunn of Hornell, her brother, Fay (Julie) Vincent of Arkport, 9 Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Tuesday from Noon until 4 PM . Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 4 PM with Terry Kelly officiating.
