Born in Hornell,September 1, 1924, a daughter of Hobart and JuliaMae Cole France, she had resided the most of her life inHornell before moving to Campbell in 2001
Helen was a graduate of Hornell High School. She had been employed by the former MarionRohr Co. as a Sewing machine operator retiring in September 1985.
She was predeceased byher husband Carl Buchholz in 2000, one sister:Eileen Lehman and 2 Brothers: Douglas and Charles France.
She is survived by one daughter: Stephanie ( Harald) Elsigan of Cuba, , twosons: Delmar ( Melody) Plank of Campbelland Michael ( Susan) Plank of TN, one sister: Margaret Klees of Hornell. Eight Grandchildren and 6 Great GrandchildrenNeices and Nephews and cousins.

354 Canisteo St.,Hornell,Tuesday, (January 18, 2005 ) from 2-4 Pm where Funeral services will beheld at the conclusion of calling hours, with the Rev. Beth Kottemann officiating.Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
