Hazel W. Doty, 95, of
27 Mays Ave., passed away Tuesday (February 13, 2007) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Almond. April 12, 1911, the daughter of Seth and Winona Bush Mosher, she had resided for about 20years in Naplesand in Hornell since 1966. She was a member of the United PresbyterianChurch in Hornell, and had been employed as a clerk for the former MarketBasket in Hornell and the former Card's Drug Store. In later years, she was a volunteer at theformer Bethesda Community Hospital.
She was predeceased by herson. Richard Doty in 1995, as well as 2 brothers, Loyal and Merne Mosher.
She is survived by her husband, J. Raymond Doty, whom shemarried on April 9, 1942,one daughter: Jean (Carl) Orozco ofCanisteo, one son: Keith (Sally) Doty ofAlmond, 9 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Robertson Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St, Hornell,with Rev. David Kilgoreofficiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Almond.
