Harold Taft, 61 of East Main Street, passed Thursday (Dec. 14, 2023) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Bath, NY, June 24, 1962, the son of Harold and Luella Wilcox Taft. Harold had resided in this area all his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Wesley Taft as well as an infant brother.
Surviving are his sisters, Jane Whitmore of Florida, Jean (Andrew Morse) Taft of Savona, Virginia (Theodore) Horn of Avoca and Marjorie Allen of Bath, his brothers, Mark (Margie) Taft of Campbell, Carl Taft of Bath, Richard (Leslie) Taft of Jasper, James (Jeanette) Taft of Campbell, several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell on Monday from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Harold’s nephew, Mark A. Taft officiating. Burial will follow in Coopers Plains Cemetery.
