Glenn L. Cook, 88, of Cohocton, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully, Friday (September 30, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canisteo, April 28, 1928, he was the son of Arthur and Harriett Chase Cook. Glenn retired from the former Canada Dry in Hornell. He served his country in the United States Army from 1950-1952, during which he was stationed in Germany.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Charlotte, five children, David (Joyce) Cook of Osceola PA, Glenda Cook of Arkport, Glenn L. (Esther) Cook of Rochester, June Cook of Oklahoma, and Douglas (Bonnie) Cook of Hornell, his brother Bradley Cook of Florida, his sister Blanche Houghtaling of Hornell, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday (Oct. 6, 2016) at 12:00pm at the Cohocton Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Dan Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
