Born in NorthHornell, November 23, 1943, the son of Harland andMary Mullen Dennis, he had resided in this area all his life. He was a US Army Veteran. Jerry will be remembered for his love ofwildlife and fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sons, Gerald Jr., and Cavin Dennis, as well as 2 brothers, Harland and James.
He is survived by two daughters: Colleen (James) Rugur of Hornell, Sally Dennis of Bath, two sons: Larry (Crystal) Dennis of Wayland, Wayne Dennis of Hornell, four sisters: Ruth Vansickles of Bath, NY,Joyce (Arthur) Drake of Fairport, Vickie Shelhamer of Williamson, NY, Sandra Little of East Rochester.

The family will be present 4-6 PM Tuesday toreceive friends at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354 CanisteoSt., Hornell. Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 6 :00 PM, Rev. Daniel Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Bennetts Creek,Canisteo.
