Born in Cuba , NY, September 13, 1933, the sonof Francis and Myrna Covert, he had residedin Angelica most of his life. Gerry hadserved in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, where he received thePurple Heart Medal, and had retired from Allegany County,where he had worked on the Road Crew.
He was predeceased by his sister Bernice Meyers, and 3 brothers Merlin,Marvin, and Donald Covert .
He is survived by 5sisters
