Georgiann H. Snyder,61, of
5015 Bush Hill Road,passed away peacefully Friday (March26, 2004) at her home.
Born in Hornell, March 21, 1943, the daughter of Victorand Helen Preston Ross, she was a graduate of Canisteo Central School, Class of 1961,and had made her home in Canisteo since 1965.She had been employed in the physical therapy department at St JamesMercy Hospital and at the former Redding Chiropractic Office in Hornell.
Annie enjoyed cooking and collecting receipt books. She loved animals, was an avid reader and wasdedicated to her family and home. One ofthe great loves of her life was her 4 grandchildren and she especially enjoyedcamping with them. Annie displayed a great courage during the past 3 years asshe battled cancer.
She was predeceased byher father, Victor Ross in 1975.
She is survived by herhusband, Clinton Snyder whom she married on May 7, 1965
one daughter: Stacy (Daniel) Blake of Canisteo
Her mother- Helen PrestonRoss of South Hornell
two sisters: Victoria Smith and Marcia Ross both of SouthHornell
4 Grandchildren, Nathan , Traciann, Matthew , and Nicholas Blake.

The family will be present 2-4& 7-9 PM Mondayto receive friends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
6 Spruce St.,Canisteo where Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Carl Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo.
