Gary V Harrison,57, of

11 Spruce Street,passed away Tuesday (December 13, 2005) at McAuley Manor in NorthHornell.



Born in Hornell, November 26, 1948, the sonof Frank J. and Betty Vance Harrison, hehad resided in Canisteo all his life. Hewas a graduate of Canisteo Central School,Class of 1967, and had attended Wanakena School ofForestry. He was employed as a custodianfor the Canisteo School District from 1982 until heretired in 1997 due to ill health. Hewas a member of the Steuben Stamp Club and a life member of the North AmericanHunting Club.



He is survived by his mother, Betty Harrison of Canisteo, 1son, Gary V. Harrison II of Canisteo, 1 brother, Richard L. Harrison ofCanisteo, 3 Uncles, 3 Aunts, several cousins.



The family will be presentto receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 PMThursday and from 11 AM until 1PM Fridayat the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services will follow calling hours at 1:00 PM. Rev. Patrick Harrisonand Rev. Raymond Shaw will officiate.Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo.
