Frieda L. Kemp, 92, of Canisteo St., passed away Thursday (July 13, 2017) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Detroit, MI, January 10, 1925, a daughter of Frederick and Louise (Slatt) Pulkowsky, she had resided in Hornell for the past several years. For 15 years Frieda volunteered at the Silver Lake Day Treatment Center. She was a great mom and had a very unique personality.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1977, her parents, 3 sisters; Gloria Masterson, Catherine Ingalls and Bernice Greenthal and a special companion; Dave Walton.
She is survived by her son Raymond Kemp of Rochester, a brother; Louis (Teresa) Pulkowsky of Hornell, a sister; Adeline Baird of Hornell as well as several nieces and nephews.
