Francis G. "Bud" Moore, 69, of 9260Babcock Rd, Town of Cohocton passed away peacefully Thursday (April 21, 2005) at hishome with his long time companion, Carrie Butler, at his side.
Born in Erwin, July 18, 1935, the sonof William and Francelia Walker Moore, hehad resided in Hornell most of his life. Bud was employed all his life as a truck driver,and the past 20 years for Joseph Meyer of Cohocton.
He was predeceased by his son, Francis Moore, 2 sisters, Marilyn Moore, Betty Pettit, 2brothers, Lynn Moore and Marvin Moore.
He is survived by hislong time companion, Carrie Butler, six daughters: Rosie Wheeler of Lakeville, Veronica Wheeler of Conesus, Theresa Klock of Bath, Stacy DuBois ofHornell, Jenny Stephens and Christina Kellogg of Hornell; three sons: William Moore of LakeDemons, Eric Klock of Bath, and Michael Stephens of Hornell, one sister: Helen Law of Mississippi, two brothers: Merlin Moore of Canisteo and Jack Moore of S.C. several grandchildren,nieces, nephews, cousins and special GodDaughter, Shelby Derck of Hornell.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 PM Sundayat the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354Canisteo St., Hornell where funeral services will follow calling hours at 4 :00 PM.RevDudley Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in Haskinville Cemetery.
