Frances D. Washburn, nee Frances Titsworth DeWitt, born on October 1, 1917 in New Brunswick, NJ passed away peacefully in her sleep on Palm Sunday, April 17th, 2011. She was 93. At the time of death she was living with her daughter Esther and family in Glendale Heights, Illinois which had been home to her since April of 2003.
Frances is survived by her daughter Esther Daflucas and son-in law Mark of Glendale Heights, IL, her four grandchildren, and her daughter Anna Eleiott of West Seneca, NY. Her joy of life, grateful heart, gentle spirit, and love of beauty will be greatly missed, but the family is comforted by the knowledge that she has come safely home and is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

After a private ceremony she will be buried in the Alfred Rural Cemetery next to her husband Lucius H. Washburn, who preceded her in death by 12 years.
