Forest D. Henry, 65, of Glen St., passed away Saturday (September 29, 2012) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, October 22, 1946, the son of Forest J. and Emily (Ormsby) Henry, he had resided in the Alfred area for many years. Forest served his country in the United States Navy from 1962 until 1966 and was employed as a construction worker for Fluer-Daniels Construction. He was a hard worker and a teacher of many trades. Forest loved fishing, hunting, traveling and will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his parents as well as one brother; James R. Henry, two sisters; Edna M. Kull and Betty J. Stephens.
He is survived by two sons; Forest (Teri) M. Henry of MS and William D. Henry of NC, one daughter; Angelica (Randy) Peters of Canada, four sisters; Irena Maxine Henry of Hornell, Louise Lewis of Troupsburg, Roxy Robards of Howard and Mildred Briggs of Alfred, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
