Floyd W. Parkington

Floyd W. Parkington, 80, of 48 Depot St., passed away unexpectedly Sunday (October 20, 2013) at his home.
Born in Stamford , Connecticut, May 30, 1933, the son of Floyd and Mary Parkington, he had resided in the Canisteo area since 1975. He had been employed as a truck driver in his early life, and later worked for several years at Bird's Eye in Avon. Floyd served his country as a member of the United States Army. He will be remembered as an avid "Perry Mason" fan.
He is survived by four daughters, Linda Benjamin, Dorothy (John) McDonald of California, Sonya (Kevin Seger) McCormick of Hornell and Melissa (Robert Preston) Miller of Rexville, two sons, Thomas Parkington of Connecticut and Eugene Miller of North Carolina, one sister, Janet Cass of Connecticut, 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
