9063 State Route 36, passed away Tuesday (January 4, 2005) .
Born in Belle Run, PA, April 5, 1911, she had resided most all her adult life in thisarea. She was a member of the Burns Community Church where she hadserved as Sunday School Teacher, and as a member of the church board. She had been employed at the former FosterWheeler in Dansville, and the former Delores Dress Factory. Flossie had been active for several years inthe Foster Grandparents Program.
She was predeceased byher husbands, Otis M. Preston in 1971,Sampson Whitney in 1987 as well as an infant daughter and one son Merton Preston in 1998 , one sister, Stella Scheiterle and 2 brothers, Walter and Leslie Behn.
She is survivedby her children, Otis (Mary) Preston of Arkport, Beverly (William) RaubSr. of Dunkirk,Drexal (Marlene) Preston of Arkportand Gerald (Holly) Preston of Mass., Several grand and great grandchildren.
