Florence B. Fuller, 87, of 5651 Old State Road, formerly of Houghton, passed away Saturday (July 30, 2016) at her daughter's home, where she had resided for many years.
Born in Rushford, March 6, 1929, the daughter of Grover and Emma (Meager) Babbitt Sr., she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Rushford Central School. Florence was a self-employed Dairy Farmer in Rushford, for many years. She was a member of the East Milk Producers, Dairy Princess, LVA, the Farm Bureau, and was associated with the Grange's, in Caneadea, Rushford, Birdsall, and also the Pomona Grange.
She was predeceased by her parents, her grandson Tim Lyon, and siblings David, John, Grover Jr., Edward, Albert, Lawrence and Elsie.
She is survived by her children David (Joanne) Fuller, Patricia (Eugene) Randolph, Sherry Barton, Janet (Donald) Merriam, Charles (Sandra) Fuller, and Bert (Mike Pinney) Lyon, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present Friday, August 5, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9pm, and additional time on Saturday for family and friends from 10am-11am at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM ,with Pastor Bill Lawson of the Fillmore Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in Podonque Cemetery in Rushford.
