Evert M. Stuck, 81, of
8456 State Route961F, passed away Wednesday (June6, 2007) at McAuley Manor.
Born in Town Of Ward, September 29, 1925, the son of Sherman and Edith Turybury Stuck, hehad resided most of his life in the Arkport area. Evertserved his country as a member of the United States Army during WW-2. He had been employed as a meat cutter at theformer Market Basket in Canisteo and the Acme Market as well as Dartt's Grocery in Cameron. He retired from the maintenancedepartment at Gunlocke's in Wayland. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge # 251 inHornell.
He is survived by hiswife, Saresa Swan Stuck whom he married on December18. 1957, two sisters: Beatrice Champlin ofWellsville and Bernice Dick of Hornell, one brother: Victor Stuck of Arkport, 2 Step-sons, Harold (Bonnie) Phillipson of NorthDakota and Edward Phillipsonof Kansas, 3 step grandsons, 1 step grand daughter and one step greatgranddaughter.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2 -4 PM Saturday at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St, Hornellwhere funeral services will follow calling hours at 4:00 PM.Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell. Hornell Lodge #251 IOOF, will conduct amemorial service at the funeral home on Saturday at 3:45 PM.
