Ethel M. Graham, 89, a 4 year resident of Updykes Willow Ridge in Hornell, formerly of East Main Street in Angelica, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2015.



Born in Angelica, August 29, 1925, the daughter of Carl Fay and Louise (Neetz) Palmer, she was a lifelong Angelica resident. She had worked for the former Kane's Grocery and Harris Grocery in Angelica for many years. Ethel was a member of the Angelica United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and organ, and participated on many committees. She was also a member of the former Angelica Chapter #231 OES and currently a member of the Kanakadea McArthur Chapter #242 OES in Almond, holding many offices within the Chapters. Ethel was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, cherishing them all. Many people were also recipients of her delicious baked goods, especially her cookies.



She was predeceased by her husband Leighton "Bush" Graham on December 24, 2002,whom she married January 22, 1945, also her sister Jessie Williams, 4 brothers Edwin, Raymond, Leonard, and Lawrence Palmer.



She is survived by 2 sons Roger (Candice) Graham of Arkport, Leighton "Dip" (Carol) Graham of Denver, NC, 4 grandchildren Kelly (Tim) Costello of Wellsville, Kristy (Robert) Sherman of Brockport, Deanna (Tim) Hand of Angelica, Christopher (Erin) Graham of Belmont, 10 great grandchildren Emily, Cody and Quincy Costello, Myles, Ty, and Allie Sherman, Gavin and Cassidy Hand, Gracyn and Hadleigh Graham, and a sister in law Gertrude Palmer Peaslee of Allentown, New York, several nieces and nephews.



The family will be present on Tuesday (March 3, 2015) from 11am-1pm, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home 101 West Avenue, Angelica, where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm with the Rev. Tim Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
