Ernest L. Beyea, 69, of
61 South Elm Street, passed away Monday (October 23, 2006) at his home.
Born in Hornell, August 30, 1937, the son ofMilo H.and Edna Woolever Beyea, he had resided in the Canisteo area all hislife. He had served in the United StatesArmy from 1961-1963, and retired in 1998 as a crane operator for the formerFoster Wheeler Corporation in Dansville after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Canisteo AmericanLegion and had attended the Canisteo Wesleyan Church.
He was predeceased by his parents, one son Donald Beyea, his sister, Bonita Kennelland his brother Carl Beyea.
He is survived by hiswife Della Sue Root Beyea of Canisteo, 3 daughters, Penny (Jeff) Harvey ofHartsville, Cindy (Tom) Mills of Canisteo, Judith Estey of Albion, 2 sons- Jeffrey Beyea of Canisteo and Roger(Laurie) Beyea of Hornell, 1 sister- Jacqualine Hollister of Arkport, and onebrother, John (Carol) Beyea of Tx, several grand children, 3 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to callon Saturday (Oct. 28, 2006)from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the Canisteo Wesleyan Church,
25 Greenwood Street,Canisteo, where a Memorial Service will follow calling hours at 11:00 AM.. Rev. Donald Maynard willofficiate.Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
