Eleanor Acker, 82, formerly of Hartsville passed away Thursday (February 24, 2005) at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.
Born in Hartsville, October 12, 1922, the daughterof Francis and Edna King Acker, she was a graduate of Canisteo Central School, Class of1940, and a graduate of the Practical Bible Training Schoolin Johnson Cityin 1946. Following her graduation, she moved to Betsy Layne, Kentucky, and worked as a missionary throughthe Calvary Baptist Churchthere until her retirement.
She was predeceased byher parents, 2 sisters, Marilyn Wyant and Lois Knickerbocker, aswell as her brother , Lawrence Acker.
She is survived by one brother: Hugh (Velma) Acker of Almond, and several nieces and nephews.
