434 Monroe Ave.,formerly of 12 Bennett St.Canisteo, died Saturday (June26, 2004) at the Hornell Gardens,.Following a long illness.
Born in Olean, NY, January 29, 1917, a daughter of Eugeneand Anna Drews Biehler, shehad resided in Wellsville from 1939 to 1958,before moving to Canisteo.
She had been employed by the former Montgomery Ward Co, asManager where she started the Catalog Store and the Rockwell Brothers Dept. Store both ofWellsville.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsville, theEvening Group of the Home Bureau and was a former member of the WellsvilleLadies Auxiliary of the Elks
She was predeceased byher son, Jon Patrick Roche in 1969, herhusband Richard Roche Sr. in 1988.
Three Sisters; FlorenceCrum, Clara Conlon and Marian Reed.
Two Brothers: Carl and Victor Biehler
She is survived by one son: Richard ( Deborah) Roche Jr. of Canisteo, NY.
6 Grand Children and Several Great Grandchildren, nieces,nephews and cousins.
At Edna's Request there will be no public calling hours , aprivate family service will be held Monday, with the Rev. Robert Morris officiating ,burialwill be in Hillside Cemetery , Canisteo.
